Simplicity, Speed and Precision

HAPSITE Smart is the most powerful, truly portable analytical tool available for field use. Its totally self-contained system with pre-programmed methods and 32-bit architecture for more versatile data processing means an operator can simply power up the instrument to enable the appropriate method, establish specified temperatures, and automatically tune the instrument if necessary. HAPSITE Smart signals when ready, in minutes, and with the push of a single button, begins sample acquisition. Complete analysis results, including chromatograms, spectra, library search results and quantitative data, are displayed on a bright, clearly visible screen in daylight or darkness.

For the most demanding field analysis by the experienced GC/MS profession, HAPSITE Smart allows customized method building, remote operation and sophisticated data-presentation using the rugged, wireless Panasonic® Toughbook® laptop computer, which now is available with the instrument.

Low Detection Limits to Parts Per Trillion

In HAPSITE Smart, a microtrap concentrator enables detection and identification of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the low parts per billion/parts per trillion range, providing unprecedented sensitivity for on-scene analysis. This can be helpful in investigating problems caused by extremely low-level contamination, such as odor complaints, sick building syndrome, or chemical warfare agents.
